Eye pressure measurement is performed to determine if a pet may have the condition known as glaucoma. Eye pressure is also recommended to be checked during yearly exams on high risk patients with intraocular disease such as degenerating cataracts, past history of eye trauma, or those breeds well known for primary glaucoma such as Cocker Spaniels and Beagles. Our veterinarians will recommend screening if it is indicated for your pet.
